19 In the multitude of words sin is not lacking, But he who restrains his lips is wise.
Did your parents ever tell you "if you don't have something good to say, don't say anything at all"? Do you practice this? Most of us need to season our words with kindness and positivity. And sometimes it is better to just keep our mouths shut. I have done this and you would be surprised how effective it can be. It makes other be reflective and introspective often correcting themselves. When you have something good to say also do not withhold it. People need to be built up, encouraged, and sometimes corrected
26 As vinegar to the teeth and smoke to the eyes, So is the lazy man to those who send him
Have you ever had to work around a lazy person? How horrible is that? You would rather that person go away, get out of the way, and let you just get on with your work. There is a big difference between being a lazy person and having a lazy day. We all need lazy days to recuperate from our tough ones. Lazy people have all lazy days.
