Proverbs 2 - Knowledge Store

2:6 For the LORD gives wisdom; From His mouth come knowledge and understanding; 7 He stores up sound wisdom for the upright

There is no such thing as a free lunch right? Wrong. In God everything is free, but it does cost you your life. Now that sounds kind of funny. How can it be free if it cost you your life? Because God already owns your life anyway. What He is asking is that you direct your steps towards Him, turn your will over to Him. That His will becomes your will. The gifts that God gives you are absolutely free. Eternal life with him, wisdom, peace, understanding, patience, forbearance, perseverance, etc. Those are gifts you could not buy no matter how rich you are. In fact, this scripture even says that God gives wisdom, that He stores it for the upright. He is just waiting to give us wisdom. All we have to do is ask.
