We are seeing sin abound and run rampant in society. Think back about 20 years ago to what was acceptable on TV, what was considered an R-rated movie, what language and behavior was tolerable in public. Now look at today. I don't think there is any doubt where we are headed. The verse immediately preceding this states that a child left to himself will bring shame upon his mother. Well I think society as a whole brings shame to God. Does that mean God has left us to ourselves. Maybe, in some ways. Those who choose not to acknowledge Him, spend time with Him, worship Him, yes. The problem is that there are more and more who are going down this path today. I thank God every day that I have been redeemed from this life of frivolity and destruction.
